The Mill
The Mill: Built in 1849
Once a working gristmill, three-story Yarborough Mill was built in 1849, and is an expansive space with sweeping two-story ceilings and hand-hewn beams. A built-in stage, which once held the mill equipment, is ideal for your band, DJ or a head table for your bridal party. We provide tables and chairs for up to 150 guests and can set up both inside and around the outside of the Mill which lends itself to mingling and enjoying the breathtaking natural surroundings.
What Our Guests Say:
“Yarborough Mill was SO perfect for our wedding – we actually live in Michigan but had our wedding in Georgia because Yarborough is so beautiful! We had an intimate morning ceremony (9 adults, 2 kids and a baby) under the pavilion and brunch in the Mill. My wife’s family stayed in the cottage on the property for two nights. The venue is rustic but not difficult to navigate to, and there are lots of airbnb/vrbo/homeaway options closeby for guests. Karen is such a kind, sweet person – so happy to help. The little details around the property make it a joyful place to be. Although our ceremony was intimate, the property is definitely big enough for quite large weddings. We were a little nervous to have an LGBT wedding in northern Georgia, but Karen made us feel right at home.”
