Yarborough Mill is a privately-owned historical property on 75 acres of pastures, hillsides, and forests. With 11 structures on the property, Yarborough Mill was once basically its own small town. The Mill, where wheat and corn were ground into flour and cornmeal, is now used as the reception area. The Queen Ann style Victorian home was built by Percy Yarborough in 1849 to rest perfectly atop a hill in the midst of the property. The original farmhouse, which dates back to 1849, is now used as the bridal cottage. The barn, once the stop for mail delivery on horseback, now houses our honeymoon suite. The old general store on the property is now used as a catering prep area. It is such a beautiful place!
In 1998, the current owners purchased the property and began restoring it to highlight all of its original beauty. Their efforts to stay true to the original design are evident at every turn.
