Your perfect wedding venue might be closer than you think! Just an hour outside of Atlanta, nestled in the North Georgia mountains, is Yarborough Mill. A working gristmill and settlement in the mid-1800s, Yarborough Mill has been lovingly restored and transformed into a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue with plenty of open air and entertaining space. This farm and barn wedding venue boasts rustic, southern charm and is surrounded by natural beauty. The rustic architecture of the 11 structures and historical nature of the property, complete with a winding river running through it all come together to create the perfect wedding venue.

Our History
Yarborough Mill is a privately-owned historical property on 75 acres of pastures, hillsides, and forests. With 11 structures on the property, Yarborough Mill was once basically its own small town. The Mill, where wheat and corn were ground into flour and cornmeal, is now used as the reception area. The Queen Ann style Victorian home was built by Percy Yarborough in 1849 to rest perfectly atop a hill in the midst of the property. The original farmhouse, which dates back to 1849, is now used as the bridal cottage. The barn, once the stop for mail delivery on horseback, now houses our honeymoon suite. The old general store on the property is now used as a catering prep area. It is such a beautiful place!
In 1998, the current owners purchased the property and began restoring it to highlight all of its original beauty. Their efforts to stay true to the original design are evident at every turn.
Our History
The mill is breathtaking on the inside and out, with sweeping two-story ceilings and hand-hewn beams. The built-in stage is the perfect area for your main entertainment or even the head table for you and your partner. Couples generally have their receptions in The Mill, where we provide tables and chairs for up to 150 guests. You can set up tables both inside and outside to enjoy the mill in its entirety. We’ll help you plan the perfect wedding and wedding reception layout at our venue!
Because the mill is an open-air space, it’s closed during the coldest months of the year.

The Pavilion
The Pavilion sits conveniently between The Mill, the Victorian home, and the banks of our beloved Pine Log Creek. Its hand-hewn wooden beams, stone fireplace, and stained glass accent windows create the perfect setting for your intimate ceremony.

The Cottage
What’s now called The Cottage was once the original farmhouse on the property. Blending antique flair with modern farmhouse touches and southern-style charm, the cottage is the perfect place for the bridal or groom’s party to get ready before the big day.
The cottage also doubles as a guest house that can accommodate up to 10 people for overnight stays.
The Barn- Gorgeous Barn Weddings in Georgia
At the end of your perfect day, you and your partner have the option of retreating to the rustic, romantic Honeymoon Suite in the barn. Here you can relax in the clawfoot tub, cuddle up in the comfy bed, or watch the deer wander through the fields from the windows as you sip coffee on the first day of the rest of your life together.

The Home
The Queen Ann style Victorian home is a beautiful focal point when pulling up to the property. All your guests will love the detailed architectural element the home brings to the venue. Perfectly situated along the hillside, the home creates the perfect background for your outdoor dream wedding. Enjoy relaxing on the front porch and taking photos on the front lawn.
Pine Log Creek
Pine Log Creek is the winding river that runs through Yarborough Mill. This beautiful river allows for perfect picturesque opportunities, a place to relax before the festivities begin, and an intimate setting for pre-ceremony vow readings or first-looks. Because of its proximity to the pavilion, if you choose to have the ceremony there, you’ll have the soothing sound of the river bubbling and flowing in the background.
